Magic in Your World
I think I mentioned I created a new page for writers. Sharing their stories. I just created one... will share it here as well.
The
night settles in with a kind of stillness.
The
birds of the day have gone quiet.
Crickets
chirping off in a field,
frogs,
singing their songs to find their mates.
Small
feet run across the floor to jump in under covers, safe.
Afraid
of the monsters under the bed,
of the
ghosts in the attic.
but not
of the real threat, he is not here in this house.
Grandpa
and Grandma keep her safe.
Teaching
her how to fish beneath the ice so cold,
while
standing on a board and being very quiet.
Finding
morals out in the woods, under the leaves and around the trees.
Walking
ever so carefully not to disturb, but only to seek what is wanted.
Of
finding special stones on the shore, while the waves slide in and
out, calmly
on a
sunny day.
Going
to the library for those wonderful books,
escaping
into magical places of elves and fae, witches and goblins.
How to
help and how to obey, quietly and gently.
Safe to
play and be a little girl.

Thank you J.Mike Fields
We all heal at our own rate. I actually see some advancement in myself. I am no longer hiding behind someone and have been facing things more.
Love the little dragons. Have a simply stunning Sunday!
Peace be with you today and each day.
