The year is almost gone...
Aging
As we grow older our relationship with time, pain, and patience changes.
There are a million things to do right now – there are always a million things to do - and yet sometimes, we just don’t feel like doing any of them. If this is your truth this moment it is futile to beat yourself up about it. Please breathe…
In a world where go, go, go is the story line it’s hard to give ourselves permission to relax; but this is imperative for our health and well-being. And I know, engrained in the back our of “duties” is the voice that nags us, makes us feel small, and says we are lazy when we simply sit down or stop to smell the roses.
How stupid is that?
We need to muzzle that voice, settle into acceptance, and welcome the slowness and the afterglow of this season.
It is beautiful right now.
Let the relationship of time warm you instead of agitating you.
Aho, amen.
I wish you peace in the coming year. It’s there for all of us, we just have to let it in.
Much love

And we should never judge a book by the cover regardless...
